Keep Activity setting

• Gemini Apps Activity will be renamed to Keep Activity in the coming weeks.
• When Keep Activity is on, a sample of future uploads - such as files and photos - may be used to improve Google services.
• If Gemini Apps Activity is currently off, Keep Activity will remain off after the rename.
• Keep Activity can be turned off at any time. Temporary Chats offer an option for unsaved conversations.

Background Context

Gemini Apps Activity has controlled whether prompts and responses are saved to a Google Account. Google says the rename to Keep Activity will not change existing off states, and sampling of uploads applies only when the setting is on.
