Google is adding AI Deep Search, prediction market data, and expanded earnings tracking to Google Finance. The rollout starts with Labs users in the United States, with broader availability in the coming weeks. Google Finance is also launching in India with English and Hindi support.

Google Finance Gets AI Deep Search & Prediction Market Data
Google Finance adds AI Deep Search, prediction markets, and earnings features.

Key details

  • Deep Search uses Gemini models for complex finance queries. It can run up to hundreds of searches in parallel, returns fully cited responses within minutes, and shows a research plan while it works.
  • Access is available through the Google Finance experiment in Labs. Initial access starts with Labs users, with higher usage limits for AI Pro and AI Ultra subscribers. Try the beta at google.com/finance/beta.
  • Prediction markets data will include Kalshi and Polymarket. Users can query future market events, view probabilities, and track historical trends. Availability rolls out over the coming weeks, starting with Labs users.
  • Earnings tracking adds live audio during earnings calls and real-time transcripts. The Earnings tab lists schedules and stores transcripts for later review. AI summaries under At a glance update before, during, and after calls.
  • Users can compare results with expectations and historical performance. The interface links to earnings documents and SEC filings. Coverage includes public company calls as they occur.
  • The new research, prediction, and earnings features launch first in the United States. Google Finance begins rolling out in India this week in English and Hindi.

Background

Google Finance has traditionally focused on market data, charts, watchlists, and news. The update adds research tools powered by Gemini, event probability data from prediction markets, and more comprehensive earnings coverage. Google says these capabilities will appear first for Labs users.

Deep Search analyzes information across multiple sources, compiles cited responses, and displays the research plan during generation. Google describes response times in minutes.

Kalshi and Polymarket will supply event probability data. India availability begins with the core Google Finance experience in English and Hindi, with broader international expansion planned after the United States rollout.
