Raptive has lowered its publisher entry threshold to 25,000 monthly pageviews, retired its Rise pilot, and expanded referral bonuses, the company announced.
Key changes
- Minimum requirement reduced to 25,000 monthly pageviews from 100,000 - a 75% decrease.
- Rise program retired; new entry-level sites are consolidated under the Insider tier.
- Current Insider publishers can add additional sites once they reach 25,000 monthly pageviews.
- Raptive reiterated that original, high-quality content remains a core eligibility factor, noting concerns about AI-inflated pageviews.
Traffic mix requirements
- Sites with 25,000 to 99,999 monthly pageviews: at least 50% of traffic from the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, or New Zealand.
- Sites with 100,000+ monthly pageviews: at least 40% of traffic from those markets.
Referral promotion
Through January 31, Raptive is offering expanded referral bonuses. Approved referrals earn $1,000 for sites with 100,000 or more monthly pageviews, and $250 for sites between 25,000 and 100,000 pageviews during the promotion.
Background and industry context
The changes lower the entry point while preserving traffic quality standards and align with Raptive's Insider tier structure. Rise, launched in 2024 for sites between 50,000 and 100,000 monthly pageviews, is being folded into Insider.
Other ad networks have also adjusted entry requirements. Mediavine introduced Journey in March 2024 for sites starting around 10,000 sessions. Ezoic removed pageview minimums for its Access Now program. SHE Media's partner network FAQ lists an entry point around 20,000 pageviews.
Why it matters
Lowering the threshold opens Raptive to more small and mid-sized publishers while keeping emphasis on high-quality, original content and strong traffic from key English-speaking markets. The referral bonus window may incentivize applications from eligible sites in the near term.
