Google is removing six previously deprecated structured data types from Search Console reports, the Rich Results Test, and Search appearance filters, following its June 2025 effort to simplify Search results.

Google Drops Search Console Reporting For Six Structured Data Types

Key details

Google will stop reporting and testing these structured data result types:

  • Course info
  • Claim review
  • Estimated salary
  • Learning video
  • Special announcement
  • Vehicle listing

These result types will no longer appear in Search appearance filters, and support in the Rich Results Test is ending.

What is not changing

  • Book Actions is not part of this reporting change.
  • Google says rankings are unaffected.
  • API responses related to these appearances will continue through December.
  • Bulk Data Export will return deprecated Search appearance fields as NULL by October.

Background

In June 2025, Google announced a broader plan to simplify Search by phasing out seven structured data types in Search, including Book Actions, Course info, Claim review, Estimated salary, Learning video, Special announcement, and Vehicle listing.

In its announcement, Google wrote:

We believe this change contributes to a cleaner, more focused Search results page for everyone.

This Search Console update aligns reporting and testing with that policy.
